On this planet where books speak, where elephants fly, where we can sink into the tar and disappear forever, where the pieces of hearts are shattered, where you can wash your brain or grill on the spot, where wrinkles are forbidden and trees are dangerous, some Citizens have decided to disobey and listen to their Cord. Located in their chest, it is the main enemy of the power in place. Everything is done to silence and forget it. By following it, it will lead them to their truth, at the cost of all dangers.

Sur La Planète où vivent Lily, Iris et Ben, la mécanique de la vie est bien huilée. Le Gouvernement s'occupe de tout et les Citoyens n'ont plus qu'à être heureux. Dans cette société confortable, mieux vaut éviter de se poser trop de questions. Sur cette planète où les livres parlent, où les éléphants volent, où l'on peut s'enfoncer dans le goudron et disparaître à jamais, où les morceaux de cœurs volent en éclats, où l'on peut laver son cerveau ou griller sur place, où les rides sont interdites et les arbres dangereux, certains Citoyens ont décidé de désobéir et d'écouter leur Cordon. Logé dans leurs entrailles, il est le principal ennemi du pouvoir en place. Tout est fait pour le faire taire et l'oublier. En le suivant il va les mener vers leur vérité, au prix de tous les dangers.
